Glamping and Touring in East Clare

On the fringes of the tranquil village of Kilbane lies our home an idyllic spot for Glamping and Touring. We are the fourth generation living on the Sweeney family farm. This is a rural community surrounded by countryside and rolling hills. There is ample fresh air and peace and quiet for those seeking to relax in nature and unwind.

The village of Kilbane nestled under the Slieve Bearnagh Mountain range. The Slieve Bearnagh Mountain range encompass many of the East Clare Walking Trails. The East Clare Way is a 180km circular walking route. It winds its way through the wildest part of the region while touching on its many villages.

We absolutely loved our stay. Áine was so welcoming even though we didn't meet her we knew she was nearby if we needed! The location is perfect, a real retreat surrounded by fields and hills. The sky was so clear, even during winter it was lovely to sit outside and admire the view, shooting stars and all! It was lovely and cosy, with everything needed in terms of towels and washing up liquid etc. The oil heater heated the pod really well and the bed was very comfy. There is a mini fridge and microwave, kettle and toaster for cooking. We will try to visit again in summer when the barbecues are set up!

Everything about this stay was perfect. Every little thing was in the pod. Hosts could not of been nicer. Place was absolutely spotless. The area was a nice quiet location, perfect or a getaway. Couldn't recommend this place more, will definitely be back.
